Fresh start and new beginnings.

Hey everyone, i hope you're all well.

As i'm sure you've noticed, my posts recently have been few and far between, and those i have done have been rushed or negative. As a result i feel i owe an explanation.

This all began in around april i'd say when exam fever set in, continued throughout may and june, and in july, result fever began, august, results rolled around, i flew back to england especially and there was a technical error so i didnt get any details until a week later than everyone else, my firm choice uni emailed me to say they had outstanding results from me and needed confirmation and lets just say i spent alot of time on the m6 between the west mids and craig's home in the north!

Well everything is now resolved, my firm choice was Nottingham, my insurance was Birmingham and im so grateful that i met the conditions for both, so on September 24th i'll be moving into halls in Nottingham to study LLB Law, with criminology, i'm so excited and i finally feel relaxed and myself again! I chose to study in the UK over the US as i feel an english degree will set me apart, also when our green cards came through i had already began my preparations and i didnt want to alter my plans that drastically.

I plan to make this a fresh start in every aspect, life, where i live, how i treat myself, my education.

Been busy... but not too busy to shop

It's getting to be a habit, all this apologising, but once again, i'm sorry for my absence!

I'm back in the states at the moment, and have just been rather busy, but i thought id stop by and share some of my favourite things lately!

I'm loving block colour skirts, the teal one is gorgeous! I really also like the look of fitted tee's with yoga pants for lounging about in, the above are from victoria's secret and fit like a glove. i'm also really into tan leather, belts, shoes, bayswater ;) these wedges go with so many outfits and just add an edge.

I've not been feeling make up as much recently, brows, mascara and some lipbalm do me fine! MY favourite mascara is the covergirl lashblast, it really is the best. In summer i find its important to keeps lips silky smooth so i bought one of the eos lipbalms, it is fantastic, and quite the novelty!

My obligatory payday trip to sephora didnt result in much.. i like the naked palette, but since its permanent i figured it could wait so i picked up 3 s-opi polishes in metro chic, how cute is that and under my trench coat, all gorgeous colours, i had how cute is that, the coral colour on my last mani pedi, it's the perfect summer colour!

More than cosmetics i'm into the whole better you thing right now, so im looking after what ive got, part of that is applying argan oil to my hair, along with taking supplements to encourage it to grow long and healthy, and its working!! Let me know if you want a post on supplements i take!

Sexy lingerie is also great for making you feel fabulous, and craig doesent mind it either ;) even the most boring outfit can make you feel a million dollars with some gorgeous undies!


I've invested in lots of bangles for layering into fall/winter, a bit of jingle never hurt anyone...

Ok ok, im a little old for them, but come on, what girl doesent love a bit of barbie?! The lbd barbies are so gorgeous!! But as its end of season, the lrd (little red dress) versions are appearing in stores now... bollocks!
